
Now I have just completed my secondweek of Keto and I have noticed that I am not running as fast as I normally do. I could be running slower because I am just thinking that my low carb diet is not giving me enough energy. But I have lost weight so it should be easier to run. I have decided that I will test my fitness with a concrete goal. One of the main functions of my therapy is goal setting so I should set a good example by setting and achieving goals myself. I decided that I would run 10 consecutive kms in a time of under 5min km pace. These can be done on separate occasions. If for any reason I run any one of these km’s over the pace of 5min I will have to start all over again. I have set a reward of a keto brownie to motivate me and a deadline of Sunday to complete the goal. Goals need to specific and set in stone otherwise they will not be achieved. They also must be celebrated. Cheers to my goal with a brownie, hopefully soon.
