What Have I Done in These 3 Years?

This week I thought I would reflect on my blog. Flicking back through the pages, I can’t believe that I am into my fourth year of blogging. I started out commenting on my journey by experimenting with the keto diet here. I then moved onto many different mental health issues.

I also, of course, did many blog entries on my pet hate sugar, like this, which I expect to write a lot more about. It is amazing and frightening when you look at all the negative affects that white substance has on our bodies, brains and moods.

I have added many different categories to my blog which I am working on improving, but if you have time to browse you won’t have trouble reading my entries. They are normally short talks about interesting facts as well as my experiences.

My goal in writing this blog is to help people with their struggles.  I don’t mean to overwhelm you with heavy fact or force you to believe in what I believe. If you are not a sugar hater like me then you can still enjoy your donuts and read my other non-sugar-related articles,

I experimented with many different hobbies and practices to help me with my mental health struggles. Mostly to help with anxiety, but also to overcome mild addictions. I found that a concept called grounding or earthing helped me a lot with reducing stress, see this link. I also tried a bit of art work to help me to reduce my drinking habits, with some success.

Motivation was another subject that I delved into and it was quite interesting. Who knew that there motivation can be categorized into extrinsic, or external and intrinsic, or internal. Well, maybe many of you did but it was a good lesson for me. I wrote about motivation here.

What I have mentioned here are just a few of the topics I have talked about, and I hope to discover and write about many more. I hope you enjoy reading about them as much as I did and continue to do so. Let me know what you think by reaching out to me via email, Facebook, Twitter or X I think that call it now.
